This week, our duck eggs arrived in their incubator. An incubator keeps the eggs warm until they are ready to hatch. So far, three ducklings have hatched in our Reception classroom. We had to wait until two ducklings had hatched before we could move them from the incubator into their cage. They spent a lot of time cuddled up under the heat pad in the cage. The ducklings are currently living in our Reception classroom and the children are really enjoying watching them grow. We will keep you updated of their progress next week and add to this news story!
