To celebrate World Book Day, we came to school dressed as our favourite book characters or in our pjs, ready for a bedtime story! We were delighted to welcome author Alice M. Ross to our classroom. She came to talk to us about her debut novel 'The Nowhere Thief'. We heard an extract of the book, learnt some tips about how to get started with writing and planning stories, and we were able to ask questions about what it's like being a writer. In there afternoon, we made dens in class and listened to an audio book (While the Storm Rages by Phil Earle). It's great to celebrate stories and story telling in lots of different ways!
