RSE
Aim
At St William of York, the aim of the RSE curriculum is to provide children with age-appropriate information, explore attitudes and values, and develop skills in order to empower them to make positive decisions. We work in partnership with parents to model and develop children's understanding of how to navigate relationships and how to promote positive attitudes towards these.
Approach
We use a programme approved by the diocese, which is called Life to the Full and has been developed by a company called Ten:Ten. Life to the Full is a Relationships and Health Education curriculum programme underpinned by a Christian faith understanding that our deepest identity is as a child of God – created, chosen and loved by God.
Please find the curriculum map for our RSE curriculum below. If you would like further information, please speak to your child's class teacher.
