This week's letter from Mrs Mayers...

Dear Parents and Carers

Photo of staff serving festive food

I would like to start with a heartfelt 'thank you' to everyone who joined us for Advent Breakfast this morning in the school hall. It was fantastic to see so many families come together at this special SWOY event. I would also like to say a huge 'thank you' to all of the staff who got to school extra early to cook the sausages and prepare such a feast! I am incredibly grateful for having such a fantastic staff team who work tirelessly for our school.

It certainly feels like Advent in school this week with lots of preparations underway. SWOYSA have been busy, behind the scenes, preparing for our Christmas Fair this weekend on Sun 8th Dec. Do join us between 12.30 - 2.30pm for lots fo festive activities!

Our children have been working hard to prepare for their Christmas Performances. Nursery, Reception, Yr1 & Yr2 will perform next week on Tues 10th Dec (10am and 2pm) and Yr3, Yr4, Yr5 & Yr6 will perform on Tues 17th Dec at 5.30pm in the church.

Kind regards

Hayley Mayers (Headteacher)
